Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera’s Court Date — What Really Happened Behind the Scenes?

Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera found themselves in court during this week's dramatic episode of Teen Mom 2 — this time to fight over Kailyn's upcoming move to Delaware. Long story short, Jo didn't want Kailyn moving with her husband because she'd be taking their son, Isaac, with her. The catch? Jo had already moved out of Pennsylvania to New Jersey, so his argument hardly seemed fair.

"We wanted to keep everything the same, all the custody stayed the same. Just move to a different state," Kailyn explained during MTV's Teen Mom 2 after show. "I think Jo was just wanting to make it difficult. He doesn't want to see our marriage succeed … I don't think he's jealous. I think he just does it to spite me for whatever reason."

Unfortunately, Kailyn and Jo's court date wasn't aired on television, but Kailyn says that Jo brought up her notoriously bad temper in a desperate attempt to win the judge over.

"So Jo brought up my temper in court just like my lawyer said [he would]," she said. "And it actually didn't work because he had never filed anything against me for my temper, brought it up in previous fights or anything. Just in this one specific time. So the judge kinda threw it out the window. I don't know why he does that. I mean, I don't take my anger out on my kids."

Fans of Teen Mom 2 saw Kailyn struggle to control her temper last season, but she's been in therapy to work on her anger issues, and has made major progress. Oh, and by the way, Kailyn definitely won her battle against Jo — she and Javi are currently happier than ever in Delaware with Isaac and Baby Lincoln, and Jo still sees Isaac on weekends!
