Teen Mom 2 fans had a chance to see Kailyn Lowry give birth during this week's dramatic episode, and despite the fact that she's obsessed with her baby, raising two kids isn't easy. Don't forget that Kailyn is the primary caregiver to her first son, Isaac "I'm Adorable" Rivera. Can you imagine how tough it was for her to balance giving him attention while also tending to a newborn?
Kailyn and her husband, Javi Marroquin, recently sat down with MTV to chat about how difficult it can be to divide their time between Lil' Linc and Isaac, but it sounds like they've worked things out — despite some initial struggles!
"The pregnancy was so hard and now I'm so attached to Lincoln that I feel like we both have separation anxiety. It's really weird. I definitely didn’t expect it to be as hard as it is — as tiring as it is — with two kids," Kailyn shares during MTV's Teen Mom 2 after show.
"I nursed the second time around, so my hands are always full, and Isaac’s like, ‘Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, that you have to wait until I'm done nursing.’ I don't want him to feel like he's on the backburner."
Meanwhile, Javi is equally pumped about the newest addition in their lives saying, "There’s times where I just sit and reflect, and think about them growing up. I wake up for them now. It's great, I have no complaints, I'd never take anything back."
Sounds like Kailyn and Javi have adjusted to parenthood amazingly — we're so impressed by their commitment to both Isaac and Lincoln!
