To quote the wise Ashlee Simpson, if you want Kailyn Lowry’s autobiography, just ask her. Better yet, pick up a copy of her memoir, Pride Over Pity — which already made Amazon’s Top 100 just one day after hitting the shelves — along with a box of tissues and a bag of cheetos. Why? Because this Teen Mom 2 star chronicles her troubled past, and it’s a bit shocking and emotional.
Now if you want to meet this inspirational woman, you’re in luck! You can attend one of Kailyn’s book signings (so far she has confirmed three dates) to have this goddess ink your very own copy, thus making it your most prized possession.
So far, the mother of two is heading to the University of Baltimore’s Barnes and Noble on May 7 at 6 p.m. ET, followed by a stop at King’s College in Wilkes - Barre, PA at 3 p.m. ET, and at Mt. Brighton in Michigan on July 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Mom 2 Mom event (along with her hubby, Javi Marroquin).
Can we be any more blessed? After catching snippets of what to expect in Kailyn’s book, we just love this girl even more. Not only did she endure rape and an abortion at the young age of 16, but she was also homeless at one point, and even suffered through eating disorders. Not to mention girlfriend lived with a substance abusing mother. Yet, despite everything, Kailyn overcame it all, and is now a successful mother, wife, writer, and role model.
So how does she stay so strong? "At this point I have two kids and I kind of just have to keep moving, I have to keep going,” Kailyn said during her exclusive interview with E! News. Seriously, this woman is everything. Bless anyone who is lucky enough to come face-to-face with Kailyn!
