Kandi Burruss is on a musical roll! The Real Housewives of Atlanta songwriter recently announced that her Atlanta-based play will be premiering at The Rialto Theater in Atlanta this November, and now she's taking to Instagram to reveal that she just completed one of the songs for the project.
Kandi posted a satisfied selfie with the caption, "I just finished a banging song that I can't wait to hear@shirleymurdock & @eddie_levert do. I guess I can take a break for a second. #hit #confident#ificantdonothingelseIcanwritehotrecords #MothersLove."
We love seeing Kandi doing what she does best: making music! We can't wait to hear some of these new songs for ourselves.
As many fans already know, Kandi's written some of the most well-known R&B tracks from the past few decades, including "No Scrubs" by TLC, "Bug a Boo" by Destiny's Child, and "There You Go" by Pink. She's also worked with a slew of A-list artists like Mariah Carey, Usher, and Alicia Keys. Prior to her career as a songwriter, Kandi was part Grammy-winning '90s girl group Xscape with bestie Tameka "Tiny" Harris.
