According to Mama Joyce, Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss’ BFF/assistant Carmon Cambrice have already fooled around right under the RHoA star’s nose. But in the June 1 series premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding, Mama Joyce’s digs and all the wedding planning (which Todd criticized) got to be too much for Carmon, so she tearfully resigned as Kandi’s assistant.

“This s—t is not easy,” a crying Carmon told Kandi, who gave her pal the out. “I’d rather us just be friends anyway,” Kandi declared. “Don’t do it! I’m OK with that.”

“If I’m gonna have to keep taking abuse from her man, her mom, I do think that at this point no job is worth ruining a 20 year plus relationship over,” Carmon told the Bravo cameras. She even reiterated that same sentiment to Kandi, saying “I will easily back out of the situation, because I don’t want to be a problem to anybody.”

After that tearful confrontation we were really worried about the future of Kandi and Carmon’s relationship, but a recent Instagram post from Kandi’s hubby, Todd, seems to indicate that everything is fine on the Carmon front. “Look who I caught up to @camcambi,” he captioned a photo of him with Kandi’s bestie from June 1.

We get that Todd was trying to let everyone know that things were great with him and Carmon after the wedding planning blowup, but the fact that he shared a photo of the two of them smiling broadly certainly won’t do anything to quell Mama Joyce’s suspicions that there’s something shady going on. Even many of Todd’s Instagram followers admonished him for sharing the sweet snap.

Still, we prefer to think positively and hope that things are going great for the newlyweds. As for Kandi and Carmon, the Xscape singer noted in a recent Q&A with BavoTV.com that her longtime pal still works for her. Honestly, we’re glad to hear it!
