We know that the network of Housewives is really extensive, and even though the ladies want to rip each other’s hair out from time to time, they also learn from one another and they’re there for one another if and when one of them is going through a rough time. Former RHoNY star Bethenny Frankel’s messy divorce has dominated headlines in recent months, but RHoA’s Kandi Burruss recently revealed that she learned an important lesson from Bethenny’s acrimonious split from her now ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.

Kandi was Andy Cohen’s sole guest on Watch What Happens Live this past Sunday and a caller phoned in curious about her complicated prenup. More specifically, the caller wanted to know why Todd had to move out of the duo’s house within 30 days, should they ever divorce.

“I did buy the house. He pays the bills, but as far as the house itself...I bought that when we were going into the relationship,” Kandi started off. “But he doesn’t want the house, so I don’t even want people to think ‘Oh he’s trying to get the house’ because he doesn’t even want the house.”

Still, Kandi had her reasons for what many felt was a cold condition. “It’s just the fact that when you get divorced, sometimes it can be a long, dragged out process,” Kandi reasoned. “I remember talking to Bethenny recently, and she had a prenup, but they didn’t have any term where he had to get out so they were still in the same house for a long time.”

“He may still be there,” Andy quipped.

“That’s why I guess attorneys try to put those stipulations in there,” Kandi answered.

Do you still think it’s too harsh of Kandi to kick Todd out of the house she shares with him within 30 days, or does her reasoning make more sense now?
