Finally on last night (Sunday, July 6)’s episode of Kandi’s Wedding, we got to see Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss walk down the aisle in her Coming to America-themed wedding to marry the love of her life, Todd Tucker. Of course, their wedding wasn’t an easy stroll in the peach orchard, but for the couple, it was all worth it. In fact, Todd took to Instagram with an open letter to fans saying he hoped they learned a thing or two from his experience.
“I just want to thank everyone for supporting Kandi and I. It was a very tough time getting through this wedding. I did this in hopes to show our young men it's okay to get married, though things will be tough and you will have to put in work. I've shared my life with the world. I hope you were entertained but at the end of the day I hope you learned something and was able to take something away from my experience. With that said I thank you all from my heart for the love and support!!!” he captiond a picture of the couple’s first kiss as husband and wife.
We all know the wedding was pretty tough for Todd, especially when it came to his future mother-in-law (and her snarky comments about his parents), but we’re glad that it didn’t scare Todd off from marrying the woman of his dreams. We’re also pleased to see Todd’s own not-so-great experiences didn’t keep him from encouraging other young men to take the plunge and get married too.
Nice going, Todd!
