Kanye West Responds to President Obama’s Attack on Lavish Life With Kim Kardashian

Having the president mention your name is a pipe dream for most Americans, but only Kanye West could take an insult from the leader of the free world and read it as a compliment.

The rapper, having heard that President Obama essentially accused him and girlfriend Kim Kardashian of destroying the American Dream, decided that rather than getting butthurt about the situation, he would take the POTUS' comments in stride.

According to HollywoodLife, "Kanye heard what the president said and he wasn’t too thrilled about it. He was just like, ‘Whoa, even Obama taking shots at me.’”

The insider, who noted that both Kim and Kanye "like and respect" Obama, said that Kanye isn't letting the insult color his opinion of the Commander-in-Chief.

"Ain’t like what Obama said is going to change anything,” added the source. “It ain’t going to change how he and Kim live their lives. It’s not about to change how much money they make. It’s not going to change anything, not even how the fans think.”

The tipster revealed that Kanye was actually pleased that Obama had something to say about him, because the rapper believes that the two have more in common than anyone realizes yet.

“Everybody know Kanye don’t care s**t about being famous — he hates it,” the source says. “All he’s trying to do is inspire people through his music and go down in history as one of the greatest artist who ever held the mic. Same as Obama is trying to do as president — leave a legacy behind.”

Do you think Kanye sounds ambitious — or delusional?
