Every girl dreams about having a love song written about her. All the more reason to date a musician, right? And now, Kim Kardashian is finally reaping the benefits of being engaged to her very own rapper, Kanye West.
In “I Won,” a track straight from Future’s new album featuring Kanye, Future’s professing his love for his own soon-to-be wife Ciara. Eventually, Yeezy jumps on to let the world know that he’s won a Kim-shaped trophy — North West included.
“‘Til one day I put an angel in your ultrasound,” Kanye raps, “I wanna dip that ass in gold.” References to baby North next to references to Kim’s glorious booty? We are suddenly uncomfortable.
Kanye also acknowledges he’s beat out sports superstars for Kim’s heart, obviously alluding to NFL player Reggie Bush and NBA star Kris Humphries: “I made it over NBA, NFL players, so every time I score it’s like the Super Bowl.”
And, just in case there was any doubt about Kanye’s verses being 100 percent dedicated to Kim, Kanye takes the opportunity toward the end of the song to shout out the rest of fam. “You could look like Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney, and Khloe,” he raps. “All your mom ever made was trophies, right?”
We’re not sure if we should be flattered by his love for Kim, or offended that he considers her a trophy wife. If Kanye thinks Kim’s just around to look cute by his side, he has another thing coming. When has the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star ever let anyone else take the lead?
Listen to the track and let us know what you think. Is it trashy or romantic?
