Stars can have some, shall we say, interesting demands when it comes to special appearances. In fact, some celebrity riders (the part of a contract where the stars say they must have only green M&Ms in their dressing room and only artesian bottled spring water for their bath) are the stuff of legends. But even though we've seen it all, we were stunned by the latest rumor about Kanye West's backstage commands. Apparently, among Yeezy's countless "requests" before a recent appearance on BBC 2's Later With Jools Holland was to have his dressing room carpet ironed.
First off, we're not even sure how one goes about ironing a carpet, but Kanye allegedly insisted it was "too bumpy." And when Yeezus says your carpet is too bumpy, we guess you put that iron on the "wool" setting and do your best, right? The rapper also reportedly demanded that everything in the room be "white." What is this guy's problem with color lately? Seriously, email tips if you have intel.
The decor of 'Ye's dressing room aside, sources also indicate that he monopolized over half of the available dressing rooms onsite in order to ensure his entourage was comfy. We guess that would be cool, but he wasn't the only celeb appearing on the show. Sorry, Sting and Kings of Leon — you're all fine with sharing a room, right?
