UPDATE (September 30, 2013):

Kanye West has deleted the tweets related to Jimmy Kimmel. It’s not a completely unexpected move; Kanye has a long history of self-editing his Twitter. Jimmy has not removed the messages relating to Kanye from his account, however; his last tweet referring to the rap mogul was sent September 27 and links to a video of his opening monologue responding to Kanye’s messages.

ORIGINAL STORY (September 26, 2013):

It would seem the wrath of Kanye West has shifted to late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. In case you didn’t see it, Jimmy spoofed Kanye’s much-talked about BBC Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe. In the Kimmel take, Jimmy hired two child actors to play the roles of Kanye and Zane. They sip milkshakes and read verbatim a transcript of the interview.

But Yeezus clearly didn’t get the joke (or perhaps this is another elaborate Jimmy Kimmel online hoax). Either way, in a series of nine tweets sent in less than 20 minutes, Kanye airs his complaints against the fellow celebrity and his spoof (watch it for yourself below).

Warning: Foul language and excessive capitalization ahead:

“JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS,” Kanye begins. “JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER.”

“JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P—Y IN YOUR LIFE…,” he continues in what might be an indirect compliment to girlfriend Kim Kardashian. “YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???”

Kanye adds: “SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F—G BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!” Let’s take a moment and give Kanye props for his creative use of hashtags. We’re sure fellow late night host Jimmy Fallon and his comedic partner in crime Justin Timberlake would be proud.

“I LIKE YOU,  YOU KNOW ME,  I WENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S WEDDING,” Kanye writes. “WHO YOU MADE IT CLEAR TO ME WASN'T YOUR FAMILY WHEN I WAS ON THEN PHONE WITH YOU 5 MINUTES AGO, YOU MANIPULATIVE MEDIA MUTHERF—R.”

To conclude, Kanye brings Jimmy’s ex-girlfriend and fellow comedian into the fray: “SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!” After taking a 20 minute break, Kanye provided a visual aid to back up his previous statement about Jimmy’s love life. The first is to the right (with some slight edits on our part) and the other, well, see that for yourself but only if certain bad words don't offend you.

As for what Jimmy has to say, he has responded to some of Kanye’s tweets individually and, among other things, requested the rap mogul use his Twitter handle when calling him out. He assures us this isn’t one of his infamous online jokes and says he’ll explain the whole thing tonight on his show. We’re still skeptical, Jimmy. (See what Jimmy has to say about it in his monologue.)

What do you make of this latest Twitter tirade? Was this frustration justified or are Jimmy and Kanye just pulling our legs?
