Kanye West may not seem too enthusiastic about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras that follow the every move of his wife, Kim Kardashian, but it looks like he wasn’t always opposed to having a career as a reality star.

TMZ recently acquired never-before-seen video of Kanye starring in a reality TV project of his own. However, this one may be even less captivating than the hijinks that take place at the Kardashian household.

The clip, which is from a 2010 pilot that never made it to air, shows Kanye engaging in a deep and meaningful conversation with his travel agent, Brett Goetsch, who is trying to make sure Kanye’s flights and hotel stays go off without a hitch. In the video, Kanye explains his aversion to air travel, telling Brett, “I try to avoid airports at all costs, because people like to say really stupid stuff to me.”

Despite his more recent habit of blowing up at anyone who interacts with him in the airport, Kanye reveals his old trick for keeping his cool in the face of overwhelming idiocy.

“This is one of my moves, though — I’ll be on the phone, even if I’m not on the phone … This is how you can get away with not snapping on a fan: you snap at the person you’re on the phone with,” he explains. “It lets them know that they’re interrupting the s—t out of you.”

Did you know about Kanye’s reality TV past? Would you have watched his show?
