Kardashian Ex-Stepmom Claims Diary Lawsuit Won’t Stand Up in Court
Ellen Pearson, formerly married to the now-deceased Robert Kardashian, is responding to being sued by her former step-children for selling portions of Robert's diary to tabloids.
Last month, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob Jr. came together to sue Ellen for profiting off the diary — which held its fair share of juicy details about the famous family.
The kids, along with their mother Kris, are claiming that the diary was left to them in their father's will, but Ellen is claiming that it is rightfully hers.
Ellen is refusing to have hid the diary from the rest of the family, but totally owns up to selling it to the tabloids for a lump sum.
The family is reportedly demanding at least $500,000 in damages, plus “more in profits, statutory damages, punitive and exemplary damage.”
Ellen is claiming that the Kardashian kids have no case and is asking the judge to toss the whole thing out.
No ruling has been handed down yet.
