Currently in the middle of it's eighth season, Keeping Up With the Kardashians could be nearing it's domination of reality TV.

According to a family source who spoke to Naughty But Nice Rob, the franchise will end in two years, meaning you had better start soaking up all the Kardashian-Jenner love while you can.

"It has been the biggest reality franchise of all time," the family insider said. "Both Kim and Kris want to make sure they end on a high note, leaving fans wanting more, rather than try and stretch the show on for another few seasons and watch it die a death."

Last year, the famous family signed a deal with E! that extended the show until 2015, but according to the source that's as far as they'll go.

"Plus, they are now moving on in their lives. Exploring new options and opportunities," the source said. "Kim wants to be with her daughter (North West) and Kanye, while Kris wants to focus on being a talk show host and maybe start producing movies. She's telling everyone that one day she will have an Oscar."

Hmm, that's a very interesting dream, Kris. "They have all made so much money that they never need to work again," another family friend continues. "They want a break from the cameras. That shouldn't be too surprising. After all, all the great shows eventually end. Just look at Friends, Oprah, and Seinfeld." OK, let's not put all those shows on the same playing field, especially with KUWTK.

The show is also known for its spin-offs, so who knows if the Kardashians will still live on when the main show ends — whenever that may be.
