Not everything in Kim Kardashian’s life is for the whole world to see. The birth of daughter North "Nori" West, for example, wasn't filmed for her reality series and neither were her final moments with ex-husband Kris Humphries. According to a new report, however, Kim desperately wanted to Skype her goodbye to Kris for Keeping Up With The Kardashians — only he refused. Now, Wetpaint Entertainment has the reason why.

“Kris would never agree to something like that,” an insider explains to Wetpaint Entertainment. “It’s way too private and way too serious.” Considering Kim’s recent problems with preserving her own privacy, surely she should understand that!

“Besides,” points out the insider. “Most of the issues they had stemmed from the fact that Kim was too focused on needing everything to be documented and put on TV. So when she finally decided to pull the plug on the marriage, he wasn’t about to further support her in that.”

Seems fair to us. Not to mention, why would anyone want to have such a sad moment in your life — the end of your first marriage (in Kris’s case) —forever memorialized with video footage?

The insider concludes: “At that point, Kris was done.”
