The Kardashian kids may have a great relationship with stepdad Bruce Jenner, but not all of their bonus parents have been such a blessing.
Former stepmom Ellen Kardashian, who married Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob's dad, Robert Kardashian, six weeks prior to his death in 2003, is embroiled in a nasty legal battle with the reality star family over the right to publish intimate details about momager Kris Jenner and her kids.
According to RadarOnline, Kris and company sued Ellen to prevent her from publishing details of Robert's diary, including accusations that Kris had been abusive to her children. In the world's most hilarious case of the pot calling the kettle a terrible person, Ellen countersued for harassment, defamation, and, perhaps most laughably, "a civil conspiracy to defame and the public disclosure of private facts."
Following a judge's order for Ellen and the Kardashians to settle rather than continuing to sue each other out of house and home, Ellen dropped the lawsuit, but according to a source close to the family, it's all part of her larger stepmonster plan.
Ellen is reportedly planning to file another lawsuit against the family while adding some new targets, including Ryan Seacrest Productions, the company behind Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
"Ellen will soon be filing her suit against a number of defendants in another court," says the source.
