Keeping Up With the Kardashians may soon just be a show called Kris, Bruce, and Sometimes a Houseguest if things keep going in the direction they have been over the past few months.
Scott Disick's appearance as a Patrick Bateman-style yuppie psychopath in the promo video for Kanye West's Yeezus seems to have sparked something in the former model, because he’s ready to put reality stardom behind him and try his hand at acting.
CelebrityFix reports that 30-year-old Scott is planning to leave Keeping Up With the Kardashians in the near future to begin his new career.
“Kanye and Scott bonded over being the outcasts of the Kardashian clan,” says a source for the site. “They had a good time filming Kanye’s album promo and have spent a lot of time together. Kanye has convinced Scott that reality TV isn’t the way to go career-wise.”
Adds the tipster, “Scott has been taking acting classes and wants to break into that. He wants to wrap up his reality career and become a real star. And the wheels are already in motion.”
Kris Jenner is not only less than thrilled to be losing low-earning, ratings boosting one-liner machine Scott, now she’s worried he may try to convince Kourtney to remove herself from the show as well.
“Kris has been working hard grooming Kylie, Kendall, and Brody to take the place of her older girls, but it hasn’t been the same,” says the source. “It sounded delusional when Scott kept saying he is the reason people tune in to watch the Kardashians. But Kris is starting to see that he was partially right. His antics have been huge ratings.”
Do you think the show can survive without Scott?
