While Kris Humphries’ first foray into television — on then-wife Kim Kardashian’s reality show — may have ended on a sour note, the basketball star’s second TV stint went much better. We’re told he had a blast shooting a small role playing himself for the upcoming season of The Mindy Project and has his sights set on doing similar work in the future.
“It’s not that he wants to be an actor, basketball is his top priority,” a source close to Kris tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “But he does have certain shows he’s really into. When The Mindy Project called he was happy to do it. He’d love to do similar cameo-type parts on other shows he likes.”
Among them: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Eastbound and Down. “He’d be thrilled to do something on either of them,” explains the source. “They’re two of of his favorites.”
