After plenty of talk and anticipation, North West has finally made her televised debut. Rapper Kanye West appeared on the season finale of Kris Jenner’s talk show, Kris. Waiting until the final moment of the show’s hour-long interview, Kanye shared the first picture of his daughter.

Kim Kardashian didn’t make an appearance on the show with her daughter, but one picture was enough. The adorable olive-skinned girl was the perfect combination of her two A-List parents.

Kanye made it clear that he didn’t want to profit off of his daughter’s image in a major magazine, and, therefore, decided to put her picture out into the world on her grandmother’s show. Since North's (Nori for short) birth on June 15, 2013, the highly publicized couple has been careful to keep her hidden from public view.

After numerous reports that Kimye decided to forgo multimillion dollar paydays from tabloids in favor of a more tasteful magazine spread, or their own social media accounts (similar to how Beyonce debuted her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, on her personal Tumblr back in January 2012), it seems the couple decided to debut their daughter on daytime TV — notably, on Kris Jenner's failing talk show, which could use the ratings boost. (It seems like the only one who profited from Nori's big debut was grandma Kris!)

North West has been the subject of media speculation since she was in utero. Kanye has made it clear that he has no respect for the photographers who he fears will end up putting his daughter’s life in danger. "What I think about as a dad is just protection. That's my instinct," he told Kris.

Kanye, who struggled with the loss of his mother, Donda West, in 2007, also opened up about life with his two special girls, Kim and Nori. Aside from not being able to "work the car seat," the rapper is enjoying time with his family, who he says now give him hope. "After I lost my mother, there was times I felt like, I would put my life at risk," he told Kris. "I felt like sometimes I didn't have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for."

The lives of the Kardashian family are put on public display on their E! reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which will begin filming its new season in September. There's no doubt Nori's chubby little cheeks will make their small screen debut this fall — and we personally can't wait!
