Ray J may have hit it first, but Kanye West has the girl — and the last laugh.

While Ray J may have tried to shock the world with his provocative (read: gross, kind of sad) ode to the joys of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West’s unexpected takedown of the singer on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon may have put the former reality star in his place once and for all.

Kanye made a surprise appearance on Jimmy’s show on Monday, September 10, where he performed “Bound 2” off his latest album, Yeezus, for the crowd, changing the lyrics slightly to include a dig at the ever-deserving Ray.

The song, which usually begins, “All them other n---gas lame, and you know it now” was changed to “Brandy’s little sister lame, man, he know it now/when a real brother hold you down, you supposed to drown” making the lyric both conveniently TV-friendly and mean. Hey, Ray — you want some ice for that burn?

While media-shy Kanye is usually guarded about his personal life, he has a long track record of pulling no punches when it comes to other peoples’ music. In addition to the now-infamous “I’mma let you finish” incident, he called out his own mentor, Jay Z, along with Justin Timberlake, on their collaboration, telling a London crowd, "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--king with that 'Suit & Tie," in February 2013.

What do you think of Kanye's performance?
