“Whenever [Penelope] sees [North] — the second she walks into the room, Penelope gets so excited,” Kourtney told People magazine on Sunday, September 15. “We never really had cousins that were close in age.”
This is such a relief, you guys. Nori’s arrival was anything but a quiet affair, so it’s easy to assume Penelope would take issue giving up her spot as the sole baby girl of the Kardashian Krew. Surprisingly, though, Kourt says Penelope’s not the one needing time to adjust. No, in true male Kardashian fashion, three-and-a-half-year-old Mason is the one craving a little more love.
“He gets a little jealous because he and Kim were so close,” Kourtney explained. “He doesn’t understand because he’s not the big center of attention.” As she told E! News, Mason had “a special relationship with his Aunt Kiki and [North] takes away from that so he’s still kind of adjusting.”
It’s okay, Mason. We’re sure Penelope and North will have plenty of room for you on their upcoming spin-off show, “Penelope and North Take Miami — The Return of the Krew.”
