The momager has spoken, you guys.

After Kylie and Kendall Jenner were spotted at a 21+ nightclub with Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick, everybody was pointing fingers. The venue owner insisted the girls used a fake ID, while sources associated with the family said they were let right in and had no idea minors weren’t allowed in the club.

It all sounded pretty fishy to us, but mom Kris is putting this controversy to bed, with an honestly super plausible explanation for the girls’ presence at the Vignette Lounge in West Hollywood.

“Khloé would never bring them to a club," Kris tells E! Online. "The girls thought they were walking into a private event that they were paid to attend as part of a personal appearance as part of a fashion show afterparty." Kris insists they were let in through a back entrances where IDs weren’t checked.

As for whether the girls were engaged in any underaged drinking, Kris is swatting that one down, too. “The girls don’t have fake IDs and they don’t drink.”

Well, if Scandal’s Olivia Pope ever needs a stand-in, Kris is her girl — she’s got this particular scandal handled.
