The Kardashians are well-known for their love of holiday fun, with their over-the-top yearly Christmas card, their seasonal specials, and their festive family gatherings, but this year, it looks like they’ve changed their lineup a bit.
Bruce and Kris Jenner gathered their brood together at the Hidden Hills home, where the couple once lived and now Kris alone resides, and looked every bit the happy family, despite the former couple’s recent announcement of their separation.
In the short promo video for the group’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians: A Very Merry Christmas special, Kris, Bruce, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, and Scott all assemble around the fireplace to open presents, share stories, and, in traditional Kardashian style, make relentless fun of one another.
The two people who are conspicuously absent from the festivities, however, are Khloe’s husband, Lamar Odom, and Kim’s fiancé and father of her child, Kanye West. While camera-shy Kanye was likely promoting his album, Yeezus, while the episode was being filmed, it’s unclear whether or not Lamar was even invited to the shoot, given the recent bad blood between him and his wife.
Despite the missing family members, it appears the faux holiday (filmed months in advance) went off without a hitch, but such a celebration begs the question: What do you get for the family that already has a personally-branded version of everything?
