What a difference 10 months makes!
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa welcomed their first child, son Sebastian "The Bash" Taylor Thomaz, on Thursday, February 21.
Amber revealed that she weighed 202 pounds when she had her son, but since she's tall it didn't necessarily look like it. By May, she had lost 30 pounds.
About three weeks ago, at the end of November, Amber shared a weight-loss photo on Instagram, writing, “I'm almost at my goal weight. Just 7 pounds to go!”
She may be there right now. On December 14, Amber showcased the change in her body with the Instagram pic shown, writing, “Before & After my baby boy Sebastian.” Wow!
It took a lot of work for her to get to this point. With her November pic, she noted, “Absolutely no surgery just diet & exercise. Most celebs give u false hope when u have a baby (My son was 9lbs) and in 3 months ur supposed to be skinny again..... It's not realistic in most cases It takes 6 weeks to heal before u could even work out.”
Good for her for promoting realism! But every woman’s body is different and each pregnancy is different too. Some women barely show at all for their entire pregnancies, so it’s not that hard for them to get back into pre-baby shape. But Amber definitely showed, and you know it wasn’t easy for her to get anything close to her old shape back.
Still, it may be a point of pride for moms to lose all their baby weight, but it doesn’t really matter as long as mom and baby are healthy. It’s enough just to have that new mom glow, right?
