For Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, Dec. 31 will mark her first New Year’s Eve as a single woman. And although she and estranged hubby Bruce insist they’re still good friends, it remains to be seen if the former couple of 21 years will celebrate together. No matter who she spends the night with, however, Kris does have an important message for all New Year’s Eve revelers: Don’t Drink and Drive.
It’s a message she drove home during the #CiroctheNewYear Pledge Drive held at Mixology in LA earlier this week. Encouraging everyone to hashtag #CiroctheNewYear, Kris explained that each hashtag is worth a $100 donation to the cause. The overall goal? One million dollars worth of safe rides. Some lucky fans will even get retweeted by Ciroc brand ambassador Diddy.
At the event, Kris also opened up about the other newly single member of her family: daughter Khloe, who recently filed for divorce from Lamar Odom.
"I still love Lamar,” Kris told People. “And I love Khloé, and I hate, hate they’re going through this. But if it’s something that Khloé feels she needs to do, then I’m 150 percent behind her. We all lean on each other, we have to."
“What Khloe’s going through is definitely challenging, I’m not going to lie,” Kris added. "She’s also showed this side of her I didn’t know she had. I always knew Khloé was strong, but I never dreamed that she had this kind of strength."
