If her recent bikini pic wasn’t enough to prove it, Kris Jenner wants you to know she is doing A-OK.

The infamous momager sat down with Carson Daly at Today and opened up about how the past year — from her own separation from hubby Bruce Jenner after 22 years of marriage to daughter Khloe Kardashian’s pending divorce from hubby Lamar Odom — has affected her.

Kris reveals to Carson that, despite living separately, her relationship with estranged husband Bruce has grown stronger in recent months.

"We're best friends. I mean, we talk all the time," says Kris. "We're happier the way that we are right now. We're really happy. Life is normal, except we're living in two different houses."

While she and Bruce are still enjoying a friendly relationship, she admits that the family has had to toughen up in light of the rampant media scrutiny.

“We all have pretty tough skin and I think that, after a while, some things just get to you,” she says of the tabloid rumors. “90 percent of it is more or less BS, like when I read stuff, I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, this is like a creative writing assignment!’”

Perhaps the most talked-about members of her family this year have been daughter Khloe Kardashian and son-in-law Lamar Odom, who are divorcing after four years of marriage.

“It's always tough when one of your kids goes through something like this," Kris says of the split, which is rumored to be the result of Lamar’s drug use and affairs. "My heart always is with them 150 percent. And Khloe, you know, it's tough what she's been going through, but it's like we're just doing the best we can."

While Kris has weathered her fair share of storms this year, she still has plenty to look forward to, thanks to the family’s newest addition, baby North West.

“It’s great. It’s really fun,” says Kris of living with granddaughter North as her parents, Kim and Kanye, wait for their new house to be built. “It’s really exciting to watch her grow up and make all these changes.”
