While we’re all still trying to figure out exactly what’s going on with Bruce Jenner these days, at least the former Olympic star has some people by his side. Ever since he split from wife Kris Jenner back in October 2013 (has it already been that long?), Bruce has been making us scratch our heads with his style evolution and Adam’s apple alteration.
Recently, Bruce has been reconnecting with his children from his previous two marriages, and the latest kiddo to speak out about Bruce is Cassandra Marino, Bruce’s daughter from his first marriage to Chrystie Crownover.
“He’s really embraced his old family and friends that he hasn’t seen for years,” Cassandra told People. “It’s great.”
Ever since his “laryngeal shave” and new ‘do, rumors have been swirling that Bruce is going through some sort of gender identity crisis, though Kris has laughed off the gossip. And while Cassandra said she hasn’t spoken to Bruce specifically about these rumors, she’s always going to be supportive of dear ol’ dad — and it’s a far cry from how Kendall and Kylie are feeling about the ordeal.
“It’s his life, and whatever he wants to do, he wants to do,” Cassandra said. “He’s always been a handsome guy, and he never needed to do anything. But you know, clearly he feels differently. And nobody knows how it is to be in his skin. If that’s what he chooses to do, then I support him.”
We hear ya, girl.
