Cancel your plans for the weekend, throw on your pajamas, and plant yourself on the couch, because the trailer for Kanye West’s movie based on his Yeezus tour has arrived.
While little is known about the Hype Williams-directed film, the trailer makes it seem like a pretty wild ride.
From footage of Kanye in concert to inexplicable shots of wild horses running through the snow, it looks as though Kanye’s movie will be just like the rapper — weird, wonderful, and really, really into horses.
For those who love Kanye but don’t love watching concert footage from shows they didn’t attend in person, not to worry, this isn’t the rapper’s only film project in the works.
Despite declaring himself a “proud non-reader of books” in the past, the rapper chose to team up with American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis for a film project based on Kanye’s life.
“He came and asked me to write the film. I didn’t want to at first. Then I listened to ‘Yeezus,’” says Bret. “That was seven or eight months ago. We’ll see what happens.”
What do you think of the trailer for Kanye’s movie? Will you watch the movie when it comes out?
