Fame may have its perks, but there’s definitely a downside to the constant attention — something Kanye West knows all too well.
The notoriously media-loathing rapper has reportedly grown increasingly concerned about the safety of his daughter, North, especially after his star-studded Memorial Day weekend wedding to Kim Kardashian once again thrust the little one into the spotlight.
“Kim and Kanye have been arguing over all of the exposure North got during the wedding,” a source reveals to RadarOnline.com. “He was frustrated that the baby was in public so much and he wants to make sure that now that all of those festivities are over that she’s protected.”
The Kardashians have had plenty of scares in the past, from burglars hitting Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian’s homes to a paparazzo sneaking onto the grounds of Kris Jenner’s home shortly after North’s birth so it makes sense this isn’t the first time Kanye has expressed concerns about the safety of his family. After North’s birth last summer, the first-time dad reportedly began looking into the purchase of kidnap-proof cars for Kim and North.
“Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths. He aims to leave nothing to chance,” revealed a source close to the couple.
Do you think Kanye’s fears for North’s safety are valid, or is he just being paranoid?
