On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kris opened up to daughter Kourtney Kardashian about the couple’s early financial woes after the pregnant reality star came to her with concerns about boyfriend Scott Disick’s plan to buy a helicopter. Kris admitted that, while she was pregnant with daughter Kendall, now 18, Bruce was equally enraptured with expensive gadgets, and it caused quite a financial predicament for the couple.
“He had jet skis and motorboats and snowmobiles and a house on Lake Tahoe but the truth is, we owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes. We didn’t have any money,” revealed Kris.
Kris went on to reveal that she was the driving force behind Bruce getting his finances in order, claiming that she “should have gotten a medal” for her efforts to rid the couple of their immense debt.
While it sounds like Kris and Bruce were at one point having some trouble getting their finances in order, we do have some questions about exactly what Kris' definition of "broke" means. We're guessing it's not the ramen-for-every-meal kind that many folks are used to.
Regardless of whether Kris and Bruce were dead broke or rolling in dough, we still don’t think Scott should get a helicopter, either.
