If you’ve been tuning into the latest season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you’re already well aware that Rob Kardashian has been having a hard time these days. Having gained 75 pounds over the last year, according to mom Kris Jenner, and struggling with some major depression issues by Khloe Kardashian’s account, it sounds like Rob could now be starting the road to recovery.
In Touch reports Rob is “ready to take the first step [toward recovery],” with plans to enter treatment at Bridges to Recovery. The facility, located in the Pacific Palisades, specializes in mood disorders as well as addiction medicine.
At this time, neither Rob nor a representative of the family has confirmed the report, so we’re not sure how reliable the intel is. Regardless, we’re certain he has the support of his family during what sounds like a difficult time for the 27-year-old sock designer.
Though normally a regular fixture on the E! reality show, Rob sightings have definitely been few and far between over the last year, with the youngest Kardashian even skipping out last minute on the family’s vacation to Thailand. His closest sister, Khloe, has expressed feelings of guilt and responsibility for Rob’s current state, saying that living with her and Lamar during the crumbling of their marriage was a “dark” period that took its toll on everybody in the house.
Here’s hoping Rob is seeing a light at the end nowadays.
