UPDATE: A rep for Khloe Kardashian says rumors that Khloe and her hubby Lamar Odom have pulled the plug on their reality show Khloe & Lamar are false. "It has NOT been cancelled," the rep said to PEOPLE. "It’s just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar’s basketball schedule is a priority."
Anyone boasting the last name Kardashian is more than accustomed to living in the spotlight, but for the clan’s friends and extended family, the über fame and constant attention is sometimes (understandably) too much.
Maybe feeling the weight of this pressure, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are reportedly not going to continue with their spin-off reality show, Khloe & Lamar. The series will end for good after its second season so that Lamar can shift his attention back to his NBA career, TMZ reports.
Lamar’s basketball career has been on the slow decline since he moved from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks this season. Now that he’s presumably been fired from the Mavericks, many have wondered if his faltering game has anything to do with the fact that he’s constantly in the limelight.
But Lamar isn’t ready to roll over just yet. The 6’10” basketball star hopes to regain his focus now that he’s back in L.A. full-time.
We’ll definitely miss watching the antics of this married couple, but if these two are a true Kardashian pair, they won’t’ be able to stay out of the spotlight for long.
