Tyler Perry's studio in Atlanta went up in smoke earlier this evening in a four-alarm fire, with Atlanta firefighters battling the flames well into the night. The lot was home to many of Perry's TV and film productions, including the upcoming The Marriage Counselor starring Kim Kardashian in her first major Hollywood role.
Most importantly, nobody was injured in the accident and potential causes remain unclear.
According to E! and Atlanta Channel 2 Action News, at least one structure on the 30-acre property partially collapsed. This is bad news for Perry, who had a 400-seat theater and several state of the art sets and sound stages on the lot.
We're sure, however, that between the Medea movies, Good Deeds and the new one with Kim, he will somehow pull through.
