Kim Kardashian is officially off the market, and now someone wants the infamous sex tape the celebutante made with R&B singer Ray J in 2007 off the market as well. Yeah, you know the one!

TMZ reports a ‘mystery buyer’ hired a lawyer in Tennessee who fired off a letter to Vivid Entertainment — the company that currently owns the rights to Kim’s filmed foray — requesting “looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights” to the tape.’

And not only does the buyer want all rights — which would make it possible for them to pull the tape from shelves and the Internet — they’re also vying for all outtakes of Kim’s romp. Basically, this buyer would then own any and all footage of Kim from that fateful day in 2007. However, TMZ reports there is absolutely no mention of the other party involved, Ray J, throughout the whole of the letter. Hmm. Could this concealed buyer somehow be connected to — or be — Kim? We surely wouldn’t blame Kim’s NBA hubby if he didn’t want any old Joe to be able to watch his wife on film!

Hopefully Vivid and this ‘mystery’ buyer — who may not be such a mystery after all — can work something out!
