When Kanye West got on stage in London with a very public axe to grind, it wasn’t all that surprising — the man loves a rant. What was surprising was his target, Justin Timberlake’s comeback single “Suit & Tie,” because the song was a collaboration with Kanye’s good friend Jay-Z!

“I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f—ing with that ‘Suit & Tie’,” Kanye said. And that wasn’t all! It sounds like the rapper also took a veiled shot at Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce and her berzillion dollar deal with Pepsi.

What’s going on, Yeezy?  We’re just guessing here, but could Kanye be just the teensiest, tiniest bit jealous of the Justin and Jay-Z collaboration?

After all, Kanye and Jay-Z go way back. Kanye got his start as a producer on Jay-Z’s 2000 album The Dynasty, Roc La Familia and made it big as a producer on 2001’s The Blueprint.  These two have been working together ever since, mostly recently on their collaboration album Watch The Throne and, rumor has it, the upcoming album The Blueprint 3.

But their relationship isn’t just professional. These two have been friends even longer than they have been collaborators, and at last year’s BET Awards, Kanye tweeted a photo of the foursome — Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and himself — with a caption that just read “FAM.”

Fast forward to the 2013 Grammy Awards, and Jay-Z and Beyonce are sitting front row at the Grammy Awards with Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel!

Of course, Kanye was never going to join them (we all know how he feels about the Grammys), but add that to ‘Ye’s London rant and we can’t help but wonder if someone’s feeling a little left out!

Then again, Kanye and his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian have plenty of other things to worry about right now! And Jay, no matter what’s going on, it’s probably nothing an awesome baby gift couldn’t fix.
