Kanye West Rants at Paris Gig, Equates Himself to Picasso and Disney
Another day, another Kanye West rant.
The “All of the Lights” hitmaker and Kim Kardashian baby daddy launched into another expletive-laden diatribe last night (Feb. 26), referring to himself as a musical equivalent to creative geniuses like Pablo Picasso, Walt Disney, and Steve Jobs.
"There's no motherf—king awards or sponsorships or none of that s—t that can stop the dedication to bringing y'all that real s—t,” the 35-year-old rapper told the crowd at his Paris concert.
"No matter how they try to control you, or the motherf—ker next to you tries to peer pressure you, you can do what you motherf—king want. I am Picasso. I'm Walt Disney. I'm Steve Jobs."
And, in case you missed it, Kanye also hit out at “Suit & Tie” singer Justin Timberlake, who collaborated with Kanye’s Watch the Throne partner Jay-Z on the new track, during his intimate gig at London's Hammersmith Apollo three days prior.
"I've got love for Hov,” he explained, “but I'm not down with that ‘Suit & Tie’ s—t."
The rapper also spoke out against the Grammy Awards and Taylor Swift, who he infamously interrupted at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
He ranted: "Taylor Swift beat Beyonce at the Grammys? Beyonce be dancing in heels and s—t.
"We need the music business to be evened out and fair. I've never won a Grammy against a white artist. I'm motherf—king Kanye West. We can create a human utopia if we try."
That Kanye, huh? He raises some valid points, but we can hardly hear them over the volume of his ego.
