Khloe Kardashian’s baby woes may soon be a thing of the past! Now shacking up in Dallas with NBA husband Lamar Odom, the 27-year-old celebutante is convinced the Big D will bring her a Lone Star baby.
It’s no secret Khloe and Lamar have been struggling to conceive, but Khloe isn’t bitter. Now, the sassy socialite believes their journey to have a baby is blessing in disguise. With the NBA lockout in full force and her bball star hubby unemployed and on edge for months before the big trade, Khloe now realizes the past year just wasn’t the right time to add a newborn to the mix.
"In hindsight, thinking of Lamar's trade and the lockout and everything, I don't know how I could have done it if I had a newborn," Khloe tells E!. "I don't think I could have done all this." Now, Khloe and Lamar are nice and settled in the south, and the second season of Khloe and Lamar is well underway, but Khloe says viewers will actually see the couple’s naught baby-making efforts – all the good, the bad and the ugly – play out on-screen.
For example, in one scene filmed during the lockout, Lamar’s anxiety about where he’s being traded starts to affect their sex life and Khloe installs a sex swing to loosen him up. "Having an NBA lockout, I think it really made him depressed," Khloe exlains. "And that affected us in other areas, which I didn't realize until later. I was trying to overcompensate, like entertain him more.”
Sadly, the swing broke on the couple’s first try, but it was definitely a step (er, swing?) in the right direction: Khloe says the reality stars’ bedroom behavior went back to normal after Lamar signed with the Mavericks In fact, now she calls it “phenomenal.” Sounds like perfect baby-making conditions to us!
