Apparently Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have failed to impress their new Floridian neighbors!

The girls have reportedly been forced to live in the less-than-posh North Miami Beach while filming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, after residents in the trendier South Beach area objected to having the glamorous gals as neighbors.

According to Belle Isle Blog, the Kardashians had their sights set on a trendy home on either the Sunset Islands, DiLido Island, or North Bay Road, but local residents said no to the reality starlets. The family needed signatures of approval from immediate neighbors of the homes they were looking at, as well as the consent of 90 percent of residents within 500 feet of their main filming location.

And while some might think living next to the Kardashians would provide a world of excitement, most of the Miami denizens refused to give consent. Kim and Kourtney were forced instead to find a house 14 miles away in North Miami Beach, known for “hourly hotels, strip clubs and high crime rate,” a source told Radar Online of the area. “It’s a far-cry from their usual posh digs, with just a 7-Eleven and an abandoned old bank close by.”

Somehow we think the girls who managed to snag a 51,000 square foot mansion in a luxurious gated community will be just fine!
