UPDATE: According to TMZ, the items taken from Kim's luggage include a pair of vintage sunglasses given to Kim by her late father, Robert Kardashian, before he passed away. A few pricey purses and Tumi luggage were also reportedly nabbed. TMZ claims that Kim has asked British Airways to see surveillance footage of the baggage handling.

 

Maybe Kim Kardashian should stick to flying by private jet! The reality star seems to have some serious beef with commercial airline British Airways.

Kim recently returned from a European getaway (which included a trip to the Cannes Film Festival and a whirlwind tour of London) with her rumored beau Kanye West and, according to Radar Online, was far from pleased with the journey home. The star complained that her bags had been rifled through and certain “sentimental” materials were removed.

“Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage & taking some special items of mine!” she tweeted. “Some things are sentimental [sic]¬ replaceable”

Kim continued with her outraged tweets by writing, “What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There's no sense of security & no trust!”

The airline is reportedly “looking into” the matter.

While we genuinely feel her pain, we can’t help but wonder just what was taken from her luggage. Perhaps Kim’s angry tweets will help better the airline industry for the rest of us!
