It looks like Kim Kardashian’s political dreams are over before they even had a chance to begin. Yesterday, it was revealed that the E! starlet was planning to run for mayor of Los Angeles suburb Glendale, California, in a few years. But it turns out that, well, she can’t. Not so easily, anyway.
The Glendale News-Press reported that the reality mogul can’t just take over their city without a little work. According to the article, the largely Armenian suburb doesn’t directly elect the “largely ceremonial” position. Instead, the role is decided upon by Glendale’s five City Council members annually.
And according to city’s elected clerk, Ardy Kassakhian, Kim’s celebrity won’t help much in the way of landing her a spot in the city’s government.
