Kim Kardashian Donates $50,000 to Prevent LGBT Suicide
We always love to hear about Wetpaint Entertainment celebrities using their fame and fortune for good, so we’re super happy to report millionaire celebutante Kim Kardashian has recently donated a whopping $50,000 to the Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to suicide prevention for LGBT teens.
The 31-year-old socialite raised the funds in September during a visit to the Cantor Fitzgerald offices in New York City. Kimmy K spent the day working the trading floor and wrote on her blog about the fundraiser: "The firm lost more than 600 employees in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and on the 10th anniversary of the attacks, they donated all revenues from their trades to charities around the world. I was honored to take part!"
Other celebrities fighting the good fight for the Trevor Project include Glee cutie Kevin McHale, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, Adam Lambert and Kathy Griffin.
