On Wednesday, the Internet went wild over reports that Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner physically beat daughter Kim Kardashian as a child.
The news came from diaries that supposedly belonged to Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian, which In Touch received from Robert’s widow, Ellen Kardashian.
“Kris was kicking and beating her and said she was going to kill [Kim]!” the diaries say, in an entry from August 24, 1989. “Kim was hysterical.”
Kris has already spoken out to vehemently deny the story, and now Kim, too, is lending her voice to the denials.
“So my dad's ex is selling ridiculous stories again to tabloids! Do not believe what she says! Sad when people need money and get desperate,” Kim tweeted on January 24.
“Ten years since my dad passed and this woman married him for two weeks before he died. Get a job instead of trying to destroy families with fake stories,” she quickly added.
Kim is currently in Paris, and tweeted that she loves the chance to escape “the ridiculousness of the US tabloids’ fake stories week after week.”
That said, Kim obviously feels that this particular tabloid story needed to be publically addressed. “PS: that story that my mom beat me and threatened to kill me hahahhahaha! I'd beat her! JK but seriously truly laughable! #NOTTRUE” she wrote.
Message received, Kim. Loud and clear.
