Reality star Kim Kardashian has already conquered many arenas — from the music world to jewelry — but now the soon-to-be-divorced diva wants to run for office! Like, political office.
Forget for a minute that Kim didn’t know the first thing about Occupy Wall Street. The 31-year-old starlet has big political dreams. In an unaired clip from Sunday’s Khloe & Lamar, Kim nonchalantly tells baby sister Khloe her plans to run for mayor of Glendale, a quaint, mostly Armenian Los Angeles suburb.
"I decided…I'm gonna run for the mayor of Glendale…but it's gonna be in like five years," Kim declares in the clip. Khloe appears to shrug off her sister’s political ambitions at first — her first response is “I’m going to be mayor of Dallas!” — but it seems Kim’s pretty serious about stepping into the political realm.
The reality star continues to give Khloe a play-by-play of her plan for Glendale domination, matter-of-factly telling her sister she must secure a pad in the city to establish residency first – a prereq for running for mayor.
But just like any good candidate, she won’t be going it alone: Kim says she’s already enlisted the help of pal and fellow Armenian Noelle Keshishian to get the “Kardashian for Mayor” machine up and running. We wonder if Momager Kris Jenner will try to get in on her daughter’s political dreams.
Either way, Kim says she and Noelle are already digging into all the requirements. Get your bumper stickers made now, people: Kardashian 2017!
