Of late, Kim Kardashian's support system has definitely been put to the test given her legal drama with Kris Humphries and the public scrutiny surrounding her pregnancy weight. But through it all, she's been lucky to have a solid support system in her family and a few select friends.

One of those friends, Jonathan Cheban, weighed on on the melodrama that went down with Kim's ex, Ray J, after he released "I Hit It First", a song essentially aimed at dissing Kim and her rapper boyfriend, Kanye West.

"When I saw that idiot Ray J make a song about her, you know I held myself back from twittering that Ray J is a real retard," Jonathan said in an interview with US Weekly. "But you know, I can't deal with a thousand people twittering back and forth so I let it go. I mean, who does that?! You're a loser and you'll always be a loser."

Though eloquence may not be his strong suit, Jonathan did score points because he revealed that he takes public disses of his best friend personally.

For those of you who haven't heard this musical gem, here is an excerpt from the lyrics: "She might move on to rappers and ballplayers/ But we all know I hit it first." And another telling snippet:"I had her head going North and her ass going South/ But now baby chose to go West."

And though Ray J is denying that the song had anything to do with Kim, Jonathan discussed how that and all the other constant criticism no longer bothered him or Kim.

"You know, it's annoying we all get a lot of negative comments on Instagram, Twitter and stuff, but you know what? We're working hard and enjoying life. And it doesn't really affect us. You know there's a lot of haters out there that are jealous. We know how hard we work. We don't pay attention to it. If you did you'd lose your mind."
