We've already reported that a mystery buyer is trying to acquire Kim Kardashian's sex tape, in what appears to be an attempt to pull it from the Internet and hide it from the world forever. It's a nice sentiment — we bet newlywed Kim and hubby Kris Humphries would love to put Kim's indiscretions behind them — but whoever this mystery buyer is better have a lot of spare cash.

TMZ talked to Steve Hirsch, founder of Vivid Entertainment, which currently has the rights to the tape. Steve confirmed that he has been contacted about selling the rights, and would be open to making a deal, but "based on [the tape's] long term value, it looks like $30 million would be a starting point for a discussion on all of the rights."

Whoa. That's a lot of dough for a sex tape!
