Kim Kardashian may be a reality star, but she’s remaining camera shy when it comes to her pending divorce with NBA player Kris Humphries.

Last week, the judge presiding over the case gave Kris’ lawyer the okay to question Kim about the duo’s marriage. According to Radar Online, Kris wants the whole thing on videotape. The move is fairly common for most divorce cases where there’s a possibility that the witness won’t make a trial date (and we all know that Kim is a busy gal).

But a source close to the proceedings tells Radar that Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, will be fighting hard to keep the cameras out of her famous client’s face during this sensitive time.

Kardashian's camp has vowed to vehemently fight having the deposition taped,” claims the insider. “They don't think it's necessary and are afraid that it could get leaked to the media, despite assurances from Kris' lawyer all video evidence will be kept in a safe and won't see the light of day until the trial.”

Touchy topics that will likely be discussed include Kim’s motives for marrying the pro baller, and the whereabouts of the couple’s more extravagant wedding presents, including a $325,000 Ferrari gifted to them by a Malaysian businessman. In March, Kim pledged to donate double the value of her wedding gifts to charity, but Kris is reportedly upset that she neglected to include the pricey set of wheels in her calculations.

Kris' attorneys also plan on calling the Malaysian gift giver as a witness because Kim has denied that they received the $325k gift and said instead that he gave them a vase valued at around $200,” said the source. “The man is a billionaire. There is no way he would have given them a vase.”

Something tells us this divorce is not going to be easy on either party!
