Kim Kardashian's public image may have improved significantly since the fallout surrounding her separation from Kris Humphries, but that doesn't mean that Kris will be satisfied just walking away from the marriage. Reports over the last few days have ranged from claims that Kim is prepared to pay Kris $2 million, to a report that Kris only cares about Kim admitting publicly that the marriage was a fraud, with no payout at all. The latest rumor? Kris now wants $7 million from Kim to walk away from the marriage.
TMZ reports that Kris and his Minnesota-based lawyer have requested that Kim either shell out $7 million, or the case will go to court, which would no doubt produce significant public embarrassment for Kim. But that request may not be realistic, given the brevity of their marriage, their solid pre-nup, and the reality that Kris himself actually profited from the marriage (although to a lesser extent than Kim did).
We're taking this latest claim with a grain of salt, given how many reports have surfaced lately — not to mention the fact that Kris doesn't exactly need the money. Does his reputation mean more to him than a stack of cold, hard cash? We're dying to see how it plays out!
