Everything in Kim Kardashian’s life is coming up roses — her childhood dreams of a fairytale wedding come (mostly) true, her fashion empire is growing exponentially, and she’s just about to wrap filming the second season of her second reality show. The business of being a Kardashian is a lucrative endeavor, says Kim’s biz partner.

How lucrative? Sources peg the total Kardashian perfume empire at about $50 million a year at retail, according to Women’s Wear Daily. And this is just the beginning! “The whole Kardashian-Jenner brand is growing incredibly fast,” Philip Zellner, chief executive officer of Lighthouse Beauty, which produces scents with Kim, Khloe, and Khloé’s husband, Lamar Odom, tells WWD.

Kris Jenner’s brood — eight children in all — offers a bevy of business opportunities. Phillip continues, “I believe [the Kardashian brand] hasn’t peaked yet, partially because of the depth of the family. With so many individuals being involved, it brings in so many different audiences — with the youngest sisters being in their teens, and the three older girls in their 20s and 30s.”
