It’s a battle between a reality princess and the Duchess of Cambridge in this latest edition of Who Wore It Best!

On August 30, 2011, Kim Kardashian showed off her then-newlywed glow in a tomato red dress by Alexander McQueen. Hitting the NYC streets with sister Kourtney, Kim played up the frock's modern feel with a silver statement necklace, metallic Jimmy Choo clutch, and sky-high snakeskin Louboutin pumps.

But the style-setter wasn't the only one to put her unique spin on this pleated McQueen. On Sunday, June 3, Kate Middleton arrived for London’s Diamond Jubilee celebration in a Queen-approved take on the look. Opting for the long-sleeved and longer-hemmed version of the dress, Kate looked her usual ladylike self in a matching fascinator, Alexander McQueen bow clutch, and simple nude patent leather heels.

Two fashion icons, two very different looks! Whose take on the McQueen frock do you like best — Kim’s fresh and sexy feel or Kate’s classic, royal touch?
