Kanye West’s new shoe, the Nike Air Yeezy II, is set to hit stores on June 9th but the sneaks are so highly anticipated that a pre-ordered pair sold for almost $100,000!
While the shoe’s retail price is set at $245, the platinum and black glow-in-the-dark soled sneakers were sold for $90,300 after 84 bids on eBay Wednesday.
Some have speculated that it was Kanye himself to hike up the bidding as a publicity stunt for the shoes. If that’s the case, it’s definitely working — the Nike Air Yeezy II has our attention!
